Lilash Lash & Brow Serum Review plus Giveaway!

Hi my lovelies,

I'm hoping you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, I know I did!

Well as the title suggests, this post is a review AND has an amazing giveaway, courtesy of Lilash. I was really excited when Lilash sent me a lovely box of their eyelash and brow serums. They arrived in a gorgeous little box with a rather cute compact mirror - I actually keep mine with my serums for a quick application when I'm on the move. Two lucky winners will receive the same box as I did directly from Lilash, but more about that at the bottom of the post!

I have virtually no lashes naturally, and my brows have suffered from some rather over-exuberant plucking back in the 90's (oh dear, showing my age there!). What little eyelashes I did have were so short and blonde you literally could not see them. Just incase you haven't seen it on my Twitter posts yet, here is a picture of me at the start minus mascara, followed by one coat of mascara to show what little lashes I had, through to this weeks picture of the growth given by my Lilash Serum and using my new Younique 3D mascara, which I will be reviewing at a later date. For now I'm concentrating on the Lilash serums reviews, but it has to be said that my amazing results are because of the joint effort of growing my few measly lashes into the lovely, long, voluminous affair they are now - along with the fact I've grown MORE lashes than I've ever had before - with using a really fantastic mascara! But as I said, more on that later.
Picture
As you can see from the top picture, my eyelashes were virtually non existent. The 2nd picture down you can see what my lashes were like with 1 coat of mascara on, before using the Lilash serum. Nothing to write home about, short and stumpy, but I've always wanted long eyelashes, REAL eyelashes, not false ones or extended ones.

The last picture shows me with 4 weeks worth of growth and conditioning with the Lilash serum and I also used my Younique mascara in it to show what I can achieve with one coat of mascara compared to the previous picture. I have had to use mascara to show you the difference as my lashes are so fair you just can't see them. So to be fair you will compare the 2nd picture down with the 3rd picture down to see before and after the serum. I know I'm biased here, but I'm literally gobsmacked! I can hardly believe my lashes can even look like this!

Now, if you look at the following pictures, which are pic 2 and 3 respectively, you can see I've circled a completely bald patch on my lower lashes. Picture 3 clearly shows that lashes have grown there. (I must point out that I went against the printed advice not to use the serum on the bottom lashes because of the sensitivity of that part of the lid, but I used a tiny bit every other day, concentrated in the bald area to get growth. I am not advising that anyone should use this serum on their bottom lashes, as it states not to, but I took that liability and decision into my own hands - please do follow the instructions that come with your serums for optimum effect and to avoid the risk of any reactions that may occur).

As I think you can tell from the pictures and my post, I am SO impressed with these serums! I feel like I finally have long lashes I can be proud of, and the best thing is that I'm only 1 month into the 3 month induction cycle which can only mean in another two months I won't even be needing mascara to show off the results - there is an agent in both the lash and eyebrow serums that lightly tint the lashes and brows as they grow through. As I am SO fair though, and only being a third way through the initial phase, mine are still pretty see through naturally. I shall be updating in 2 months to show the optimum growth you can achieve. I haven't reviewed the brow serum here purely because although I have had a huge boost in growth and amount of brow hairs, I desperately need to get my eyebrows shaped to compare them to the 'before' pic!

The serums I was given were the 0.1 FL OZ tubes, otherwise known on Lilash.com as their "demi" size. There are two sizes, this one and double the size at 0.2 FL OZ. The demi size I have are priced at £51.40 and the larger size at £89.93 for both the lash and the brow serums. Now before you suck the air in your teeth and shout out "how much?!", first I want you to understand how well the serums work and then you need to be aware that unlike other well known lash and brow serums which last between 4 - 6 months on average, these demi sized tubes contain enough for the 3 month induction cycle of daily application, plus then have a further 6 months maintenance cycle supply in aswell (twice a week), so they will last you 9 months. When you consider the length of time you get out of them and then consider the length and price of other brands, you will see these are actually good value for money. And the results speak for themselves.

Will I buy these when I run out in 8 months? Its safe to say that I will 100% be purchasing these! Infact, its probably true to say that I don't think I could do without, if these past 4 weeks growths are anything to go by! Also worth noting is that Lilash.com ship worldwide and not only that, but they ship worldwide for FREE!

Giveaway

After seeing my amazing results in only 4 weeks, the lovely ladies at Lilash have offered to give away 2 lash & brow packs worth over £100 each, to 2 of my lucky readers! What an amazing giveaway to start the new year with!

All you need to do to have a chance of winning a lash and brow pack is to follow myself and Lilash on Twitter, and to Retweet my #giveaway tweets whenever you see them. Each Retweet gains another entry, so RT as many times as you like to give yourself a higher chance of winning.

As Lilash ship worldwide, this giveaway will also be open internationally, so is open to ALL of my readers! The giveaway will be closed at 7pm on Monday 12th January 2015 and no further entries will be accepted after this time. As usual, any fake accounts will be disqualified.

Good luck my lovelies,

Loz 😘 X x X
